FORTRAN 90

FORTRAN 90 is a procedural programming language for scientific numerical calculations. FORTRAN 90 code needs to be compiled before execution.

  • Compilers for FORTRAN 90 can be obtained online for free, an examples is the Gnu Compiler Collection (GCC) for Linux and Mac OS X.
  • Windows users should obtain Microsoft’s Visual Studio to compile FORTRAN 90.
