Scilab is a general purpose mathematical programming language and environment for the solution of algebraic and differential algebraic equation systems. In addition, Scilab has some features supporting simultaneous and sequential optimization.

Usage
Scilab is available as a command line tool via its own IDE.
- Scilab IDE: Change the current directory to the location of your model files and open your run file (solveEquationSystem.sce or else) inside Scilab and press the run button.

All user options of Scilab itself are discussed in detail inside Scilab’s help menu or in Scilab support forums.
Applied Examples
As of yet no examples have been published, which explicitly use MOSAIC’s Scilab export.
