At this year’s ESCAPE-27 conference (European Symposium on Computer-Aided Process Engineering) held in Barcelona from 1st to 5th of October our group had four oral presentations, including a keynote in the education/training track. Each presentation was related to MOSAICmodeling:
- Sandra Fillinger presented her work on linking process simulation and automatic 3D design for chemical plants,
- Erik Esche gave a keynote about the support of education in process simulation via MOSAICmodeling,
- Gregor Tolksdorf promoted the idea of automatic code generation for customized CAPE unit operations, and
- Henning Bonart talked about his framework for source code generation for parallelized simulations of large-scale equation systems on a super computer via MOSAICmodeling.
The ESCAPE conference was a joint event taking place all together with the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering (WCCE), the 11th European Congress of Chemical Engineering (ECCE), and the 4th European Congress of Applied Biotechnology (ECAB).
