At the end of July, this years third MOSAIC workshop was conducted at UFBA in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. More than 40 students in the fields of chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as economists had an introduction into modeling, simulation and optimization of (chemical) engineering systems in MOSAIC.
We received good reception and interest from the students with many of them planning to use MOSAIC for upcoming tasks. Further on we want to thank Dr. Karen Pontes for the organization and support before and during the workshop.
